September 15 - 17 Jeannie Edwards
Introduction to Watsu®-Hot Tub Style!

Watsu® is a unique form of bodywork that is generally given in warm, 97 degree, chest-high water. It is a flowing sequence of stretching, rocking, massage and stillness. Learn to adapt Watsu® to small spaces, such as hot tubs, in a truly splendid setting! Our outdoor classroom is a rock-lined natural pool nestled into a lush, fern laden hillside overlooking a pristine meadow, with the melody of the river always near by.

Both giver and receiver will be encouraged to cultivate a quiet receptivity and open-heartedness. Watsu® is often effective in decreasing stress and chronic pain. It also assists with emotional/spiritual healing, recovery processes and freedom of movement. This retreat also includes indoor class work and a mini Watsu® Tuesday between 4-6pm. No experience needed. Bring a swimsuit. 12 CEs available for LMTs.

Jeannie Edwards, BS, Certified Hakomi Therapist, LMT, is a counselor, teacher and Watsu® practitioner in Eugene since 1992. As a facilitator, Jeannie blends a compassionate, supportive presence with skills honed from leading more than 50 workshops. (lic#3483)
