Meditatively, in stillness, we open and calm the body, cleanse the heart, sharpen the mind, and finally access even subtler levels, for exploration, liberation and profound personal change. Applications include stress-based hypertension, anxiety, insomnia, PTSD, depression, indigestion, and pain, as well as personal evolution. Supports will include Restorative Yoga, gentle hatha movement, Non-Violent Communication (NVC), listening partnerships and facilitated discussion. Yoga Nidra is beneficial for persons of any fitness level, non-yogis to experienced practitioners. Tina Taylor, RN, MS Counseling, is a nationally certified yoga teacher.
