Argentine Tango: A Women’s Dance Retreat 

Just as we connect in our local tango communities and on the dance floor, we’ll come together as women to dance tango and explore, play and renew in this remarkable place. This is a gathering of exceptional women from around the country to further explore the roles of both lead and follow in tango. The weekend includes yoga, tango “playshops,” open practice time and discussion. Above all, this is a playful and creative time to connect with other women who seek to leverage their following skills to become stronger leaders, both on and off the dance floor.

Laurie Ann Greenberg has been dancing socially both lead and follow since 1997. She is part of the first wave of tango dancers in the Portland area. She has inspired and encouraged hundreds of women to learn both roles to deepen and enrich their dance abilities.
