Yoga Nidra, though noted in yogic literature since the 1800s, has only recently become widely discussed in the USA. It is beneficial for anyone, from non-yogis to experienced practitioners of any fitness level or ability, supporting stress reduction, pain management, whole-self wellness and spiritual development. The Yoga Nidra taught is from the Satyananda lineage. For information on Continuing Education credit for LMTs, RNs and other licensed professionals, contact the presenter. Tina Taylor, RN, has a Master's in Counseling, and is a nationally certified yoga teacher. She first studied Yoga Nidra at Satyananda ashrams in Australia and New Zealand in the 1980s.
