Summer at Breitenbush is a wonderful time to celebrate your yoga in a warm and welcoming community. During the summer retreat we will meet for two yoga classes a day which will include both yin and active style asana, breathing and sitting practice; partner work and guided relaxation; poetry and sharing from the heart. Our practice sessions will be supported by healthy and lovingly prepared meals by the Breitenbush staff, bodywork from the healing arts community and the beauty and power of nature. Afternoons and evenings will be free for hiking, soaking, river dipping and relaxing in solitude and with others.

Come celebrate your yoga, revitalize your commitment to the path and share in inspiring practice and conversation with others of like mind and heart. This offering is suitable for strong beginners to advanced students.


Shannon McCall has been studying yoga since 1984 and teaching at Breitenbush since 1991. She draws from the teachings of Angela Farmer and Victor van Kooten, Ana Forest and the Anusara Community to offer a practice that invites each individual to dive deep and find the source of yoga within their own body.
