Yoga for the Seasons - Summer Retreat
Do you want to learn more about the history and philosophy of Yoga and Ayurveda? Are you interested in better understanding seasonal practices, alignment techniques in asanas, or how to creatively organize these principles into your life? If so, then Yoga for the Seasons - Summer retreat, is for you. The retreat will provide relevant philosophy applicable to today’s lifestyle, seasonal practices to harmonize your actions with Nature, alignment principles to counteract the body’s inherent tendencies toward seasonal imbalances, and an inspirational discussion on how to weave together these principles in your daily life routine. During the retreat we will explore numerous ways to renew your relationship with the yogic health sciences devoted to vinyasa and sequencing.
Melina Meza has been teaching yoga full-time since 1997. Her main influences have been Dr. Robert Svoboda, Scott Blossom, and Sarah Powers. She is the Co-Director of the 8 Limbs Teachers’ Training Program in Seattle, published The Art of Sequencing, and recently launched her first of four DVD’s, Yoga for the Seasons Fall Vinyasa. www.melinameza.com
