Sixth Annual Natural Parenting Retreat

Come celebrate the importance of family in a beautiful natural setting. Participate in parenting workshops while your children enjoy crafts, movement and storytelling led by experienced outdoor pre-school teachers. Enjoy family time to soak in the pools and explore the nearby forests and rivers.

This year we will focus on building a harmonious family life and raising aware children.  We will explore ways to support healthy emotional expression in our children and ourselves that fosters peace and self-confidence. We will spend time learning about how to care for our children’s bodies in natural ways that support healthy growth.  We will also look at the role of the senses in the child’s development, and learn about ways to integrate those experiences.   

The Mother Earth School, a Waldorf bio-immersion program for children in Portland, will be leading the children’s activities and games and providing care for the little ones. They specialize in teaching children through experience in the natural world, and will bring this element to compliment the workshops provided by this year’s presenters.
