What Are Your Hungry For?
There are hungers in the psyche that cannot be fed with food. There are hungers of the spirit that cannot be quelled through strategies of food management. When these hungers of the heart get confused with hunger for food or strategies for food management, we slowly dull our capacity to rest in the innate wisdom and love that is the center of a sacred life. This workshop offers relief. Through psycho-educational presentations on the cycle of addiction and the nature of shame, exercises to develop communication skills, non-violent communication and “breathe-able boundaries”, and with the support of yoga, meditation and pranayama, we will explore these complex disorders in the spirit of sisterhood.
