Visionseeker Level One
Shamanism and the Modern Mystical Movement

In Visionseeker One, we will utilize the classic shamanic journey method to re-establish connections with our spirit teachers, ancestral spirits and possibly descendants. We will explore the issue of empowerment, the nature of the three souls in the Polynesian perspective and how this cluster interfaces with the nature of reality to produce the self. We shall also begin to examine the nature of health, illness and healing from the perspective of the traditional shaman. The week will conclude with a powerful healing ritual and close with an exercise oriented toward ancestral lineage healing. This workshop provides a clear introduction for those less familiar with the shaman’s path and will enhance the practice of more experienced inner travelers.

Visionseeker Level One provides the foundation for Visionseeker Level Two, offered at Breitenbush July 27 - August 1 and Visionseeker Level Three, October 12 - 17.

Hank Wesselman, PhD, is a leading research paleoanthropologist who has spent much of his life among traditional tribal peoples in Africa and Polynesia. He is also a shamanic practitioner, now in the 25th year of his apprenticeship. Hank is the author of five books on shamanism, including the Spiritwalker Trilogy and The Journey to the Sacred Garden.
