Awakening into the Sacred: Anusara Yoga and Meditation
Sarahjoy Marsh

Yoga as a physical and metaphysical discipline invites us to experience ourselves and the world with profoundly fresh and expansive awareness. Meditation, a cornerstone of yoga, serves as the tuning fork for awareness, reminding us of the vast silence from which all thoughts, sensations, sounds and seasons rise and to which they return. This weekend includes depth in the practices of asana, pranayama and meditation as well as discussion of the philosophy of yoga as it applies to day-to-day life.

Our philosophy explorations will include the teachings of the Koshas as a model for understanding how to create depth in the practice on and off the mat. Understanding the beauty and intricacy of the physical, mental, energetic and cognitive yogas, allows us to rest effortlessly in the innate lucidity of the heart, where lasting shifts occur. Bringing together the timeless practice of yoga with the contemplation of the dharma, this weekend will be a deep renewal for your body and a re-inspiration for your mind and heart. All levels are welcome, we will have separate beginning and intermediate sessions.
